Day 2 - The Complete Run Down

I did it! Day 2 is done! Overall, I have to say it went really well. I did change my wake up time to 5am which provided plenty of time for me to journal and workout. It always amazes me how much I can actually write. Once I start it's like word vomit everywhere. It truly is so freeing. The most interesting part about it is that I never know what I'm going to be writing about. It always starts by self reflecting on the day before, but always morphs into some wild adventure that zigzags everywhere. I never ever read back what I write either. Once it's on the paper, that its. I move forward. When I finish a notebook, I tie it up and tuck it away so it can never be opened again. For me, the system works well. It also connects me back to my spirituality. When I'm super connected, I feel alot lighter. As I write this on day 2, I know day 10, day 20, day 75 is going to guide me into greater self peace and love. Its time to really do the work.

Work is exactly what it feels like right now. Lol. Man, that elliptical is kicking my ass. On day 2, I accomplished 19 minutes and that was with my sneakers on. It's freaking exhausting. I guess it just goes to show how much work I really need to do! In time, it will feel less like a chore and more so the joy of exercising. That does happen you know. After getting into a good workout flow, you become addicted to the endorphins and happiness it brings. I'll be there soon enough.

I completed my BetterMe Somatic Yoga workout as well. I'm really loving this app. It's easy to follow and flows well for my engagement. I've tried so many options and they are always so awful. Since I was really enjoying the flow of this program, I joined two additional 30 day challenges. One is a 15 minute face yoga program. Lol. I know, face yoga ... what the what? But, I have the tendency to scrunch my head and clench my jaw alot, so I thought the face yoga can help with the tension. If it helps with wrinkles along the way, that's great. So I guess we'll see what happens in 30 days.

The next challege is a walking challenge. This is to ensure you're hitting your steps for the day. Right now, the target is 7000. I will eventually get back to 10000 steps, but in time. Slow and steady is my motto right now. I have the tendency to put so much pressure on myself and frankly, that creates alot of my anxiety. Identifying the problem is the first step. I'm ready to identify all of the problems even if it breaks me to my core. It absolutely needs to happen.

Now that I've finished that crazy tanget, I did accomplish my lunch time walk while listening to the next episode of The Girls Next Door. My take away from the episode is that Hue Heffner liked using baby oil as Lube. That seems like a terrible idea lol, but I guess I get it because it has the same consistency as Silicone Lube. That's all we use. It's got the best glide to it. Other than that, nothing too exciting to share.

I'm cruising along in the Matthew Perry book as well. There were some heavy points in today's reading that made me do a double think on my own life and traumas. I'm going to dive more into that tomorrow during my journal session. Maybe uncover some more deep rooted issues to bring to my therapist. LOL. But seriously, since journaling, I do have a list of things to talk through in upcoming sessions. I figured instead of forgetting all the things that twist me up, make the list and talk it out so it stops creeping up. I've had enough of that. Again, it goes back to ... do the work.

Lastly, I stayed on track with my smoothie and factor meals as well as my water intake. This is department is going to be the least of my issues. That I can say positively.

That's it! Day Two is Over.

xoxo,

Mizzy
